Wednesdays are chock full of stuff to tickle everyone’s fancy. A lot is premiering tonight. Lots of scripted and reality shows to watch. More inside.

The Middle on ABC – I have watched only a couple of episodes of this show and it’s really good. I have been meaning to get back into it and catch up but it’s just one of many on my long lists of shows that I need to watch. Season 3 premieres tonight.
The X-Factor on FOX – For everyone that has been missing Simon on American Idol, he is back tonight with this show. It’s basically American Idol but it with young people, old people and bands. Like American Idol, I’ll probably only watch the first two weeks of this for the awful auditions.

Criminal Minds on CBS – THE WHOLE GANG IS BACK TOGETHER!!!!! YES YES!!! After last season’s debacle of getting rid of J.J (A.J Cook) and Prentiss (Paget Brewster) and trying to substitute them with any blond twit they could find, CBS saw fit to listen to the enormous amount of fan outrage that came out of this and bring them back.
Modern Family on ABC – It’s an hour-long episode with our favorite family. The Emmy winner for best new comedy is back for season 3 and Lily is SORASed (Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome I know it’s not a soap but it applies here). I’m happy about this because the twins that played Lily had absolutely no personality, just blank face the ENTIRE time. This show is hilarious and I don’t expect anything less from this clan.

Law & Order: SVU on NBC – So sad about this season. After 12 years Stabler (Christopher Meloni) is gone and Benson (Mariska Hargitay) will be on less episodes and probably done this season. There are gonna be two new detectives brought in played by Kelly Giddish and Danny Pino.I’m interested in seeing how they explain Stabler’s absence. Hopefully its great and the two new detectives will be good additions to the show.
Revenge on ABC – This show stars Emily VanCamp (Brothers and Sisters) playing Emily Thorne, a young woman who arrives in the Hamptons set on getting REVENGE on the people who wronged her father and thus ruined her childhood. Madeleine Stowe (The Last of the Mohicans) also stars playing the woman who broke her father’s heart. I need a new drama so I’ll be watching this of course.
CSI on CBS – This show is in its 12th season and show no signs of slowing down. It’s been moved to a new night for the first time since its second season in 2001. Ted Danson is joining the series as their new supervisor after Laurence Fishburne’s departure. It is also Marg Heldenburg’s last season and she is going to appear sparingly this season 😦 I gotta pick up this show again since my fave is leaving this season.
So off you go. Happy watching.
