Don’t judge me but most of my Sunday night was spent watching the premiere of some of my guilty pleasure reality shows (I didn’t have to work today woo hoooo yay for government holidays) as well as trying to clean up my dvr. But we’re talking reality shows here and Celebrity Apprentice, Khloe and Lamar, The Amazing Race, and The Real Housewives of Atlanta were on deck for my Sunday night watching pleasure.

Celebrity Apprentice premiered its 12th season last night on NBC and it was a hot mess of entitled “celebrities” and all the drama that comes with them. The new cast has some real treasures like Victoria Gotti, Aubrey O’Day, and Arsenio Hall. The teams were split as usual between the men and women. The men’s team seemed to have a lot more recognizable and more famous faces vs the women’s team that is filled with models and has-been singers who no one would care about. The  deck seems like it is already pretty stacked against the women’s team but for this first task it looked like they would be able to pull out a win. The task was a fundraising one where the teams had to sell sandwiches for charity. The women worked their butts off on the task and the entire time, the editing had the task going the women’s way because they were bringing in major money from their donors. But I got tricked by the Trump edit because the men ended up raising almost 3 times as much money as the women only because the men got one person to donate $305,000 for one sandwich. If it hadn’t been for that one donation the men would have gotten trounced.

The drama and comedy came from gems like when Aubrey O’Day claimed that she was the most famous because she had the more twitter followers than the rest of the women or when George Takei and that guy from American Chopper arguing about him being a weak player. The other drama came when Victoria Gotti was doing personal business the entire task and didn’t show up for half of it. It was just hilarious seeing the women get scared about confronting her because she is the daughter of mob boss, John Gotti. In the end, supermodel Cheryl Tiegs got fired because she realized she was with a bunch of crazies and didn’t really fit in and Trump knew she’d be hella boring for the rest of his show. Next up Khloe and Lamar. So I thought these two would not last as long as they have (2 1/2 years together) at all but color me surprised when during the first season of their show I completely came to love them. The thing that sold me on them was how Khloe handled her father-in-law when he came around asking her for money and Lakers tickets. She was actually very sweet and just really caring and sensitive (which are not things I would say about some of the Kardashians). She just seems like the realest of them all like I could be friends with her.

Anyway Season 2 premiered last night and it started out with showing off their relationship and how lovey dovey they are and also showing her brother Robert moving out of their house. They really are quite cute together and like I said I wouldn’t have thought they would make it this long but I love them. I also love the relationship between Rob and Lamar. They love each other and its great. I just like seeing male relationships like this. Catch new episodes of Khloe and Lamar on E! The Real Housewives of Atlanta is a hot mess of a show but I can’t even stop watching it. These women are so petty and catty and out of touch its hilarious. This episode was the last episode of their South African adventure. The episode started on a good note with the ladies having just come from the orphanage and bonding over the fact that they are all very blessed and have many things that they take for granted. It was nice but of course that had to end when they started arguing about Marlo and her designer digs and how she is always talking about them and blah blah blah. Then more drama was started when Cynthia talked about how Kim would go to an orphanage and hold a black baby. Then Sheree told Kim and blamed Kandi for it and it just became a huge argument that got nasty. And that was just another day with the Housewives of Atlanta. The Amazing Race 20 started last night and I have already shouted my love of this show that I hadn’t watched before. I thoroughly enjoyed this show. Love the traveling and the spotlighting of the cultures in the places they go to. Last night was no different there were 11 teams to start with none of which are over the age of 35 it seems. One team is already familiar some people. Big Brother winner Rachel and her fiance Brendon are back and annoying the heck out of me and all the other teams already. Ughh why did they have to cast them. They are so ughh. There are just so many annoying teams already, I don’t know who to root for. Its only episode one so we shall see how the rest of the season goes. Catch the show every Sunday on CBS at 8/7c.
