THE EMMYS ARE HERE!!!!! I love love love the Emmys. It celebrates my #1 love – television.  The 65th annual primetime Emmy awards go live this Sunday, September 22 at 8/5pst. This year CBS will air the award show hosted by How I Met Your Mother’s Neil Patrick Harris. This year’s show will look more and more like the Academy Awards with musical numbers from Harris and Dance Chreography nominees that include a plethora of So You Think You Can Dance talent. There will also be a special in memoriam which will spotlight 5 people that have passed including Sopranos star, James Gandolfini and Glee’s Cory Monteith.

What To Watch: Sunday January 13

iwatch2muchhbo_showtime

Sundays just got even more jam packed with all of the Showtime and HBO’s mid-season lineup returning tonight.

Live From The Red Carpet (E!) – 5/4c Awards season is in high gear and I love a red carpet. E! happens to throw the best red carpet party with Ryan Seacrest and Giuliani Rancic. Tonight’s carpet is for the 70th annual Golden Globe awards.

70th Annual Golden Globe Awards (NBC) – 8/5p I love the Globes because they are always a nice booze filled party and not as stuffy as the Oscars. Everyone is sitting to dinner and by the end of it someone who is presenting or accepting an award is slurring their words in the funniest way. The awards usually hosted by Ricky Gervais are being turned over to funny ladies Amy Poehler and Tina Fey.

Don’t judge me but most of my Sunday night was spent watching the premiere of some of my guilty pleasure reality shows (I didn’t have to work today woo hoooo yay for government holidays) as well as trying to clean up my dvr. But we’re talking reality shows here and Celebrity Apprentice, Khloe and Lamar, The Amazing Race, and The Real Housewives of Atlanta were on deck for my Sunday night watching pleasure.

Emmys 2011

The 63rd Annual Emmy awards air tonight on FOX and if you know me, you know I love award shows.I especially love the Emmys because they are all about television and fashion, but they also signify the official beginning of the fall tv season. So many of my people and shows got nominated finally (Friday Night Lights, Connie Britton and Kyle Chandler for Friday Night Lights, Timothy Olyphant for Justified) and so I’m excited to see if they win or if the academy decides to just give it to the same ol’ people (I’m looking at you John Hamm).Tune in to the show tonight at 8/7c on FOX. Also check out the pre-shows on E! at 6/5c and on FOX at 7/6c.For all the nominees check out Entertainment Weekly’s Emmy Awards Ballot

What’s On Tonight: Friday Sept 16

Fridays are usually the nights where they send shows to die a slow painful death so there really isn’t anything to watch tonight.  Next Friday are the premieres of Fringe, Blue Bloods, Supernatural and A Gifted Man so there will be plenty.
