There were some great looks on the carpet and some just meh looks. Not many outright bad dresses this year. It made it a little difficult to come up with a worst or best dressed.
Best
Glenn Close looked great yesterday. I think this is the best she has looked in a while. It’s just very age appropriate and fits her body very well. Her makeup and jewelry are great as well.
She looks great. This dress looks kind of like her Globes dress but in a different color. She looks fabulous though. She knows what works for her and her body and she sticks to it. Fantastic.
Love this Tom Ford dress. That man can design some clothes. Gwyneth had been looking a mess at some of the past award shows but she looks wonderful here.
She was my best dressed for the evening. This was her first Oscar ceremony and she turned it out. The hair, the dress, the accessories, all perfection.
Worst
She looks far older than her 20 years of life. I need her to hire a new stylist.
Just No.
I love her and I love that she changed it up a bit from what she had been doing all awards season but this is a no. It’s just not a good dress.
If you have read this blog at any point, then you know I love me some Meryl. This dress though, Noooooo. It’s so bad. I hate everything about it. The way it’s draped, the way it hangs, the color, ughh.
And with that awards season comes to a close 😦 So sad. Until next year.

I thought Penelope looked ok. I hated her hair. Jlo looked good as usual but I didn’t like the arm cut outs on the dress.

I agree that Shailene needs a new stylist. She was a dissappointment at the Globes too and with her being only 20 y/o and a size nothing, the chick can wear ANYTHING yet she keeps picking duds. Octavia does keep wearing the same kind of dress – but i guess if it ain’t broke, why change it.
I love Gwenyth’s look but would’ve preferred it without the cape. I just need Sherri to do better…
