Another San Diego Comic-Con came to an end this Sunday and it came with so much TV news and trailers. It seemed like TV was really the star of the con and for the first time overtook film at the big event. There were first looks at highly anticipated new series, teasers for upcoming seasons and news on some of our favorite long running series. Take a look at all the trailers and enjoy.
Legion – FX
FX’s series Legion is a new X-Men series from Marvel that had its coming out party at Comic-Com this weekend with the release of its first trailer. The series is an origin story of David Haller, who comic book fans know as the mutant Legion. The series will premiere some time in 2017.
Lucifer Season 2 – Fox
The teaser doesn’t give much on season 2 but it does set up the story for the season with a first look at Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Gallactica) as Lucifer’s mom.
Luke Cage – Netflix
Iron Fist – Netflix
Daredevil – Netflix
Netflix announced that their first of the Marvel series was renewed for a third season. Season 2 premiered this past March with season 3 to come some time next year.
The Defenders – Netflix
American Gods – Starz
Sherlock Season 4 – PBS
The Walking Dead Season 7 – AMC
Fear The Walking Dead Season 2B – AMC
Vikings Season 4 – History Channel
Teen Wolf Season 6 – MTV
The teaser trailer for season 6 of Teen Wolf premiered during Comic-Con and showed some scenes that were filmed before Dylan O’Brien’s injury on the set of The Maze Runner sequel. Along with the teaser they announced that season 6 will be the final season.
The Flash Season 3 – CW
Arrow Season 5 – CW
The Vampire Diaries Season 8 – CW
No teaser for the series but they did announce at the panel that this season would be the final one. This doesn’t come as much of a surprise as Kat Graham (Bonnie Bennett) and Ian Sommerhalder (Damon Salvatore) announced that they would be leaving the series earlier this year. I’ve watched from the very beginning so I’ll definitely be there for the end.
Man In The High Castle Season 2 – Amazon
Once Upon A Time Season 6 – ABC
The series, going into its sixth season, will delve into the story of Aladdin, Jasmine and Jafar. The only thing that matters in this news and teaser is Oded Fehr will be playing Jafar. I haven’t watched OUAT since like season 3 but I’ll catch up to watch Fehr.
Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D Season 4 – ABC
Blindspot Season 2 – NBC
Star Trek: Discovery First Look – CBS All Access
The Expanse Season 2 – Syfy
