Your First Look At ‘The X-Files’ Miniseries


I think I might have to binge watch this series in preparation for the new miniseries coming.

The truth is out there, and it’s that this isn’t a reboot. Mulder, Scully and presumably the whole gang of whatever it was invading Earth are returning to television for the first time in 14 years (we’re going to pretend that I Want To Believe didn’t happen) for The X-Files, a miniseries continuation of the Fox series that ran from 1993-2002.

To prime the pump in advance of the miniseries’ 2016 premiere, Fox aired a teaser during tonight’s episode of Wayward Pines, itself a show gunning heavily to carve out a slice of the same cultural space the X-Files did back in the Clinton years. Tatiana Maslany Finally Lands A Lead Actress Nom For ‘Orphan Black’ – Emmys

Call it Emmy season justice. After being overlooked for two seasons by TV Academy voters, Canadian thesp Tatiana Maslany finally notched an Emmy lead drama actress nomination for her turn as various clones on the dystopian future BBC America show Orphan Black. Prior to today, award pundits as well as TV Academy members continually smacked their foreheads over Maslany being left out of the race.

Maslany faces off this season in the category against Viola Davis (How To Get Away With Murder), Taraji P. Henson (Empire), Claire Danes (Homeland), Robin Wright (House of Cards) and Elisabeth Moss (Mad Men). In the last year, she has logged a TV drama actress nod at both the Golden Globes and SAG. The Critics Choice TV Awards have been ahead of the curve, giving her back-to-back best actress trophies in 2013 and 2014.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!


HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! 2013 has been a huge, exciting year for me. There have been so many things that I never thought I would do and have gotten to know some pretty fantastic people. There was also some pretty wonderful television and film this year.  Thanks to everyone who has taken the time out to read, comment, and share this blog. I have loved writing this and while the posts have been sparse (Sorry about that; work and school take up all the time), I appreciate you sticking with me. Many great things to come in 2014. I CANNOT WAIT!!!!
